We are looking for an Odoo Expert who will play a key role in the implementation, configuration, and customization of Odoo modules. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Odoo development, both frontend and backend, and will work closely with our business teams to optimize and automate processes using Odoo ERP solutions. The Odoo Expert will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage the implementation of Odoo ERP systems, from initial requirements gathering to deployment and support.
- Customize Odoo modules to meet the specific business needs of the organization.
- Configure Odoo applications/modules, such as Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, HR, and more.
- Design and develop bespoke modules when required to extend Odoo functionality
- Develop new features and functionality in Odoo by customizing existing modules or building new ones.
- Integrate third-party applications and services with Odoo.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Odoo configurations and customization.
- Perform necessary coding, testing, debugging, and deployments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather detailed requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design technical solutions for various business processes using Odoo.
- Provide input into business process improvement recommendations using Odoo capabilities.
- Provide ongoing support for Odoo post-implementation, ensuring the system runs and meets business needs.
- Monitor Odoo system performance, handle issue resolution, and perform upgrades.
- Provide end-user training and documentation for Odoo modules and features
- Conduct testing of Odoo configurations and customizations to ensure accuracy and functionality.
- Ensure the Odoo system adheres to internal quality standards and best practices.
- Document changes, workflows, and processes to maintain clear and updated records.
QUALIFICATION:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience working with Odoo ERP, including hands-on development, customization, and implementation.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Strong experience with Odoo framework, including Odoo modules development, API integration, and customizations.
- Knowledge of Odoo 14 and later versions, with experience in implementing Odoo ERP solutions.
- Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Git for version control.
- Experience with server configuration and deployment of Odoo in cloud or on-premise environments.
- Strong understanding of business processes, including Sales, Finance, Inventory, Manufacturing, HR, and CRM.
- Experience with business analysis and translating requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to map business processes to Odoo applications.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to identify and solve issues quickly and efficiently.
- Critical thinking and the ability to offer creative solutions to business challenges.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Client-focused with the ability to understand and address business needs.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with Odoo enterprise versions.
- Odoo certifications (Odoo Developer, Odoo Functional Consultant).
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of eCommerce integration (Odoo eCommerce, payment gateways, etc.).
