What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage works in a similar way. Some are needed for the site to work; others help us understand how people use it. Webtronix never uses cookies for advertising.
Essential: always on
These make the site work and remember choices you make. They don't track you, so they don't need your consent.
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
wt-consent | Browser storage | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies. | Until you change it |
theme | Browser storage | Remembers light or dark mode, if you switch it. | Until you clear it |
Chat history | Browser storage (session) | Keeps your chat open as you move between pages. | Until you close the tab |
wt-demo-verified | Cookie | Remembers that you confirmed your email for demo access. | 30 days |
Demo form | Browser storage | Fills in your details next time you ask for a demo. | Until you clear it |
wt_admin | Cookie | Keeps our own team signed in to the admin area. Never set for visitors. | 8 hours |
Analytics: only if you accept
If you choose “Accept all” on the cookie bar, we load Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see which pages help people and where they get stuck. Clarity hides what you type in forms. If you choose “Reject all”, neither is loaded and none of these cookies are set.
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Count visits and tell new visitors from returning ones. | Up to 2 years |
_clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID | Microsoft Clarity | Group the pages of one visit and show heatmaps and anonymised replays. | 1 day to 1 year |
Google and Microsoft process this data under their own privacy policies. You can also stop Google Analytics on every website with Google's opt-out add-on.
Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time: opens the cookie bar again (it's also at the bottom of every page). Rejecting after you accepted stops the analytics and removes Google Analytics cookies from this site. You can also delete cookies in your browser's settings.
